I want to get LOTR but which version is best?
So I have never saw LOTR before and thought that I should watch it. However, I don't know what edition to order from Amazon. While the Extended Edition has more content, it has this strange green tint as seen in this video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vwcm-73kZE8
The Theatrical Edition doesn't have this green tint but it has less content. Either way I have no idea what Edition to choose. Pls halp me flud.

The extended edition. I've never experienced this "green tint" effect, which is weird? Idk. Either way, the extended edition has a lot of content that should of been in the films, as well as content that was definitely cut out for a reason. It's sort of like a two way street. I'd still definitely get it if you're a hardcore LOTR fan though.
