Status: Revised Heavily
I don't want Destiny to be dark and gritty any longer. I want Destiny to be a game that people of all age groups can have great amounts of fun in. I don't want this game to be limited, restricted, or otherwise held back by any means, and I believe that is what we are going to get; an amazing, unrestricted experience for all users. Whatever is incorporated will be great, and that is all that matters. I can't wait for this game, and I can't wait to see you guys there!

Edited by BannedArcoloid: 1/8/2014 9:58:01 PMIt's a change of pace, and I really appreciate that. Almost every AAA title out right now, in addition to upcoming releases, seems to be taking the gritty, realistic approach. This differentiation will continue to set them up for awhile as well, because the stream of gritty, realistic games doesn't seem to be slowing down. Also, I think you're underestimating how "adult" Destiny will be. While from an aesthetic standpoint I suppose you could make the argument that it isn't very gritty, but as the saying goes: "Don't judge a book by it's cover." I'm fully expecting Destiny's story to incorporate many darker themes.
