halo was never m rated, seemed to work just fine. the world of destiny seems fantastical rather than gritty, so far anyway. we haven't really seen that much though, but that's the feel i get.
edit: apparently halo was m rated. my bad, never thought halo games really warranted that rating

I feel the same way both about Halo's rating and Destiny's style. I feel like Halo could be rated T, but because it's an FPS it got a M rating. And you're absolutely right, Destiny has more of a fantastical feel to it rather than a dark, gritty, survival feel (Lord knows we have enough games that feel like that!).
