Haha. I deleted my comment because I was planning to upload a really cool picture from a recent shoot (I was taking wedding photos. My first real "paid" gig actually), but my Internet was capped and now I can't. but thank you for the response, anyway. I use a Canon 600D with a 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens (which is awesome for portrait work too. The bokeh is beautiful). I've invested over $1500 for all my equipment, but it's worth it just for the occasional shot that pleases you. If that makes sense.
