I am now legally allowed to drink and drive. Not at the same time though.
And happy new year everyone!
Edit: Here are some important things and what age they become legal at.
15: Sex, driving a moped or an "EPA-traktor".
18: Driving a car, drinking, smoking, snusa, voting (which I'll be doing this fall), going to jail (which I hopefully won't be doing), buying a gun, gambling.
21: Buying wine, vodka, etc at systembolaget.

I'm now also also legally allowed to "snusa" even thigh that is something I don't plan on ever doing. Most people on this forum have probably not heard of snus before but it's actually quite common here in Sweden. Sweden is in fact the only country in the European Union where snus is legal. And when I come to think about it most things become legal here in Sweden at the age of 18. The only thing you can't do is buy drinks with more than 3,5% alcohol. You can buy whatever you want if you're in a bar but grocery stores are not allowed to sell wines and such, they're only allowed to sell beer. If you want to buy stronger stuff you have to go to systembolaget and to do that you have to be 21.
