The bottom line of the spying issue is that it helps no one; not the country, not the peace, and most certainly of all not you.
yet in the related thread I see people bending over backwards trying to defend it for [b]literally no reason at all[/b] - why?
And saying "I don't care" in this case is the same as saying "I support it"

I have nothing to worry about for my [i]own[/i] well-being since I have nothing to hide, and I haven't committed a crime. I can see why it's concerning for some, but for many of us in this forum, if not all, shouldn't have to really worry about it unless you downloaded child pr0nz or have some type of device or information on how to completely destroy the government. Should you worry about things such as your credit card information, or your social security? It'd be stupid to say "No" about that, but think about it this way: What are the chances (Assuming you're in America) that you are being specifically targeted to be abducted, interrogated, or even put into a federal prison for attempting a coup against the government? A healthy dose of concern is alright. However, paranoia builds up to a pretty crappy host at parties.
