Everyone belongs to a group, so under anyone's interpretation fascism can benefit them granted their group is at the top. Let's consider Judaism and Zionism. A society where collective Jewish wealth leaves Jews at the top, Zions one level down, and everyone else at the bottom which would create class warfare and thus stimulate the economy, while Jews and Zions will reap the benefits.
It's not unethical. You only need the care about the people around you. It is a lie to say that you care about all the people in the world because you just don't know them. And they certainly don't care anymore for you. This is what communism relies upon for social order, but it will fall apart as soon as the pressure is relieved.
In full, focusing on equality for every group within the human race would only trim down on the resources and power your group could seize for their own. So what redeems communism from its inevitable short standing with Zion fascism?

Communism is more than just a political ideology, in order to understand the political part you must also understand the moral and ethical part of communism. Every single thing we have, besides food, family, clothes, and shelter, is unneeded, in capitalism and fascism however, they inevitably will become the things our lives revolve around. The system (in fascism and capitalism) relies on us obtaining more and more superficial materialistic objects, thus by fueling our desire to acquire for ourselves , for ourselves to gain social status, it also fuels our greed and arrogance. Assuming one is not a moral nihilist, most people generally agree that greed and arrogance are undesirable traits, and lead to many other evils. Communism advocates for the elimination of unneeded things, at least for them to not be the main focus of our lives, and thus helps to reduce greed and arrogance in a society, and in a true communist state, empathy will be the ruling trait, while in true fascism it will be greed.
