So I'm playing through Pokemon Y, and I really want to turn my Doublade into an Aegislash whenever I can find a Dusk Stone. However, once I do so, he can no longer learn any more moves, but the tradeoff is that his stat gains get crazy better than his previous evolution. So really, the sooner I evolve him the better, so I'd just like some advice on the best timing to do so. Currently my Doublade is level 35. Looking at his move list, he'll learn Power Trick at level 41 (sounds pretty meh), Iron Head at 45 (A stab attack sounds good to wait for), and Sacred Sword at 51 (Not a stab attack, but it sounds crazy good and is super flavorful). Currently I'm leaning towards leveling him up to 45 for Iron Head, but I just don't know how good Sacred Sword would be. I also don't know if the move tutor will allow you to "cheat" and so if I evolve my Doublade now my Aegislash will be able to visit the move tutor after leveling to relearn moves he could have learned as a Doublade. What do?
