http://romanticallyapocalyptic.com/ Has incredible art work, madcap humor, and a bizarre but enthralling story. (What would happen if you pitted the luckiest human in the world, a former cyber terrorist, and fragmented assassin clone, and an engineer Vs. the apocalypse, robots, and aliens?) But for pure laughs: http://www.thegamercat.com/ http://www.twogag.com/ http://www.blastwave-comic.com/

Edited by Trace: 12/30/2013 9:31:20 PMTwoKinds. I love that comic, it's amazing. It started in 2003, I discovered it about a month ago. The writers art skills in the beginning chapters are meh. So to anyone interested I would recommend starting around in Chapter 10 That's about where I started. Oh, and around Chapter 15 and 16, just a warning, you might cry a bit. (Hint: It's sad.) Summary:
After losing his memory to a mysterious battle, Trace Legacy, a former leader for an organization of mages called the Templar, finds himself in the company of Flora. As Trace gradually begins to re-learn what he once knew, he soon discovers that Flora belongs to a race of people who are enemies of his kind. As friendship confects with racial differences, Trace and Flora find themselves in a situation more critical than either of them can imagine.
Gunnerkrigg Court. It's about a girl called Antimony who goes to a boarding school somewhere in Britain called Gunnerkrigg Court. Near the beginning of her time there, she discovers she has a second shadow, and from there, things just get curiouser and curiouser. There are robots and psychopomps and elements from just about every facet of mythology there is. The story is really expertly told, there are a bunch of great characters, and the art is wonderful (though it is a little basic at the beginning). It's just a really great webcomic and you should totally read it. There are over 1200 pages so far so if you like it you won't have to worry about running out for a while, and it updates three times a week like clockwork.

Edited by nao: 12/29/2013 2:05:21 AMA few years ago I would have said Dresden Codak, but the artist got all political and ultra femnisty/sjw. Especially towards video games. Kinda made it hard to enjoy the comics. I do really like his art style though. Don't read too many comics now. Ocassionally I'll read rice-boy (<3 Order of Tales) and xkcd. Other than that meh.
