Is it because they're scared of party vans?
is it because they don't have good internet providers??
Is it because they want to watch the whole world burn???
Also, do you torrent? And if so, how often do you seed and for how long?
Seeding is, putting it simply
when you download a file, you have the option of uploading it to other users who want to download it. This allows a quicker download speed for them is seen as a general rule of thumb to most people who torrent (At least, to the people that I know :b).
I only seed things if I find them important and worthy, like The Hobbit with simulated 48fps using film interpolation. (I saw The Hobbit in theaters four times and bought the DVD for the features, don't act like I'm a thief) I wish they just sold the dang high framerate version digitally so I'd have the real deal, but the interpolated version is still awesome.

I don't even understand the seeding and leeching terms of torrents..
-
Because they're careless.
-
Don't torrent at all. Much more convenient to just buy things these days.
-
Awful upload speeds and bandwidth caps.
-
I torrent Halo CE but it was a fake. I never torrent again
-
LEECHER FOREVER MUAHAHAHA. Ive been caught downloading seasons 1 and 2 of Game of Thrones. Now that I've been caught I do not want to again. So now I run Peerblocker when torrenting and I quit seeding.
-
I only seed if it needs to be seeded. If there are a shit ton more seeders than leechers on a torrent, I don't seed.
-
I don't torrent.
-
If there aren't many seeders I'll go ahead and seed it. Generally everything I download has a good amount of seeders so I don't bother.
-
I seed certain things. Particularly torrents with very little seeds at the time of downloading.
-
Either they don't have the patience or they're paranoid about having their IP documented. Either way, complaining about it won't change their minds.
-
I'm worried one day all the pirates are going to be charged for everything they've downloaded.
-
It depends, sometimes I'll only seed for a couple hours or a day, but if I go a while without torrentig anything I might seed the file for a month or longer.
-
most people don't seed because it's more taxing on your internet connection, and causes lag online and most don't have awesome internet connections as is.
-
I rarely ever use torrents, so I haz question: What is seeding? I see it a lot, but don't know what it is.
