near the end of halo reach (which was by all means a great game, my favourite in fact), Jun and Dr Halsey departed in a pelican when Noble 6, Carter and Emile went to the MAC gun. But in Halo 4, Dr Halsey was still alive but in captivity by the UNSC, which must mean, yep you've guessed it, Jun must have survived. I'm not sure if this theory is correct after all, it is my theory, so if anyone form Bungie or anyone in fact could see if my theory could possibly be correct, because I just came up with this today, so it would be great for me to have an answer.
Thank you,

He's alive. He is shown in the Halo: Initiation comic series.
-
Fun fact: If he wasn't a sniper, you kids wouldn't give a shít about him.

Edited by Helljumper 141: 12/20/2013 7:47:39 PMThis again? *sigh* There's a comic telling what happened which is Halo: Installation. The link above is a fan fiction comic that talks about Jun

Jun survived. He's also the one who recommended Palmer for the Spartan-IV program.
-
I'm pretty sure Ogre killed Jun in 3. She may be coming back in the form of Unknown, but the Tag games are non-cononical... Then again, Baek Doo San came back, so, who knows.
-
Jun tripped over a rock and broke his neck or something.
-
Why do people care whether this entirely forgettable character died or not?
-
There's a mission in halo 1 where there's a crashed pelican with a guile suit and sniper on the ground.
-
when master chief met up with dr halsey on reach, she was already separated from jun so hes probably dead

OP's age isn't in the double digits yet.

That user name doe

What if jun sacrificed himself for Halsey to live or halsey is being held because she killed jun???? The possibilities are endless....

He was dead, but Halo: Initiation -blam!-ed up the piece of cannon.
-
He's alive, I always knew he was. I'm sure he's in some books, but I haven't read one yet with him in it, but in the comics Jun was one of the spartans who talked to Sarah Palmer. I'm unsure, but I believe he was the one who picked her to be a Spartan IV.

Read the books.

Edited by Barack Obama: 12/21/2013 6:49:04 PMDOES ANYONE CARE? MY THEORY.
lolhalo
Then why does Emile cry out "This is for Jun!"?
-
He did survive. It's been confirmed
-
Wow ur smart

I have thought of this before and there is a huge possibility that he is still alive. When he attended Dr Halsey to CASTLE base in the highlands for Operation: WHITEGLOVE, we never saw him again. He either retired from service or continued his service to the UNSC and fought in the human-covenant war and either died in combat, he would have received a high reward for his actions on reach.
-
He is alive, this was confirmed by the Sarah Palmer avatar item in the xbox live market place months ago.
-
Wow! Did you come up with this all on your own?!?!?! Man I feel stupid for never thinking this! You're so smart!
-
JUN IS MASTER CHIEF WHEN WILL YOU IDIOTS LEARN?
-
Read the damn books

Er... read the books.
