Which version of the Wraith do you think was the best?

Probably Reach's or 4's. One of the only things I like about Halo 4 and 5 is the way the covenant look/behave.

Edited by Reign of Bane: 1/11/2015 4:04:49 AMHalo CE you don't get to drive it but it looked good at the time. Halo 2 I like the damage system in this game but the wraith was not as formidable as on other games. In campaign it was tougher than all the drivable wraiths in the other games. Were the wraiths in Halo 3 and ODST the same? Guess as LOA hasn't said anything they were. Even though they should have been more like Halo 2's in ODST. I liked the wraiths on Halo 3 and ODST that were drivable. The AA like Halo 1 you cannot use so guess they looked good again. Halo Wars wraiths looked good and did the job, the honour guard wraith (same colour as the heretic banshee) looked real nice. Halo Reach wraith was my favourite to use, campaign and MP. Had some real good times on Invasion with these. Halo 4 wraith wasn't bad either, looked the best out of them all. Controls similar to Reach's. Spartan Assault wraiths were fun to use, but weird to control at first.

Edited by Quantum: 12/18/2013 8:43:58 AMTough. -The Halo CE version could not be boarded and was able to fire its plasma mortar at a player right up to the edge of its frontal armor. It could only be safely engaged with heavy weapons, or at range. -The Halo 2 version was fairly maneuverable. It could actually be fired at really long ranges, which is best seen in the level Metropolis, specifically the bridge. Its armor is invulnerable to Spartan punches. -The Halo 3 version is inferior to the Halo Reach version. The Halo Reach version had a more powerful cannon, and I'm pretty sure it could take more damage. -The Halo 4 version is unable to fire at range, and I don't like the color of the plasma mortar bolt. I'm not counting the AA wraith as it ruins the poll.

I don't even remember driving one in CE.
-
Halo: Reach. It looks the best, sounds the best, and is the best to drive.
-
Halo 2's variant seemed all-around the most maneuverable.
-
Halo Reach wraith seemed alot stronger than any of the other versions.
-
I personally disliked the Halo 4 wraith. Tricky to steer and the firing arc was just...off. I can't seem to be able to do anything in it.

'Tis a tough one. SFX: CE Visuals: Halo 4 Gameplay: Halo 2 What I miss the most about the CE Wraith is how it'd rock back and forth after being hit with a Scorpion shell or rocket.

Anti-air master race.
-
Reach's is the best visually, but the AA Wraith is the best in general.
-
The AA variant. If only it was in MP.

Ever since I ramped a warthog off a Wraith on Hemorrhage, as soon as it fired, and me booting the Wraith driver afterward... I have to say Reach.
-
I love to pilot a Ghost and use the Wraith as a ramp. Also, driving under than Wraith with a Warthog. CE was fun to play around with. Halo 2's was pretty cool to play with, but the controls were kinda clunky. Reach's had the best controls and easiest to use.
-
I'm tied between Reach and 3. Halo Reach's wraith was strong, but the Halo 3's was very defensive.
-
The "Anti-Air" Wraith from Halo 3. Anybody who has used it knows it makes for a kickass main battle tank (and also completely sucks at anti-air).

Edited by HUNTERxKILLER: 12/17/2013 3:57:29 AMVisually Reach's Wraith looked the best, but its armor was paper thin and emp blasts would completely disable it. Halo 3's was the best functionally, as it had the best speed and maneuverability for getting away from infantry ambushes and chasing other vehicles.

Halo 2 It actually had some amount of maneuverability.
