Do I DARE Say It?...
Can Destiny be just as popular and create as big of a bang in the gaming community (if not MORE so)…than Halo?

If any game can do it, it will be Destiny. With 10 years of content planned this game is gonna get HUGE. Maybe not right away, but I predict a very steady growth as more content is released and people start bringing more.friends in. The people who sit on the sidelines for the first year will kick themselves for not jumping on board sooner.

Not likely. It will gain a good following, but the days of games like CoD 4 and Halo are gone. There's too many quality games, too many different styles, and too many gamers for games to become instant hits like they used to. It's possible, but much more difficult these days.

Possibly. Destiny is going to be reaching a larger audience because it won't be an Xbox exclusive like Halo. Also with the way people have been accusing 343 of ruining Halo we may see the Halo fan base shrink.

The only thing working against them is hype. Halo had little-to-no hype, making it that much more amazing when it became a household name. Bungie now has a massive following, and a LOT of pressure to deliver. Also, it sounds as though Bungie is moving away from the Arena shooter and will be breaking all the rules of the traditional shooter. This will be great, but will no doubt upset some people. Not many people like change.

Sad to say but probably not no, it is too similar to many other games, it's not different enough and people these days are very judgemental and hateful.
