I was offended that it was first called "Christmas Vacation" even though I celebrate. I just was offended FOR those who would possibly be offended. But even "Winter Vacation" is too offensive! Think about the southern hemisphere. Is it winter there? No. That's why it should be renamed "December Vacation". What do you guys think?
-
December Vacation is offensive to me because it has "dec" in it. "Dec" can be pronounced like "deck", which sounds sort of like "dick" which is both a short version of Richard, and slang for the penis. I take it to be the latter, therefore it offends me because it is profane.

It's the winter season so yeah..

I couldn't care less. Christmas is just another day where I happen to get a few bits of stuff and a Doctor Who Christmas special. 'Part from that, I just play video games all day as per usual.
-
Christmas holiday, take it or leave it.
-
what about people who use lunar calendars like the jews?
-
You're too easily offended. Get a thicker skin.

Or just call it the 'Christmas Holidays/Vacation' like any normal person would.
-
Nah, it should be called Christmas Vacation.

My break is from December carrying into January. And I have a friend who will be traveling back to his home in South Africa for his break, but he still calls it winter break. He generally must offend all of us. DOWN WITH CHRIS!!!
