I thought The Last of Us had one of the best soundtracks in any game I've ever played. It even ranked up there with Marty's work on Halo.
I don't understand how GTA5 got Best Soundtrack when 90% of it isn't made by Rockstar. What do you think should have won?

I'm just glad Naughty Dog won studio of the year from VGX. Shame it got beaten out in the other categories. It may be a linear experience which, for some, diminishes replayability, but goddamn Last of Us was the best game I played this year. It is in my top five games of all time and the story and universe it fleshed out will stick in my head for years to come.

because last of us is a steaming pile of shit
-
More importantly how the hell did BF4 not win Best Shooter? Or how did it not win best PC game and it went to some indie looking crap? Jimmies: Confirmed Rustled. At least GTA5 won GOTY, but I think Trevor or Willem Dafoe should have won best voice actor as well. It's not right that the winner got 50% of the entries.

Because it wasn't memorable imo Best soundtrack to me was MGR
-
I am shocked also. We got the worst performance in a lifetime for gta V last night.
-
I really, really don't know. There are no memorable tunes from GTA V .
-
Same reason why Gone Home won in two categories over games that were clearly better I'm sure.
-
Wait, how the -blam!- did gta5 get best soundtrack. It was pretty shit tbh. Bioshock or The last of us should have got it. I really think Hans Zimmer is good as Marty. That is pretty old now though.
-
Bioshock Infinite should have won best soundtrack.
-
Wait, did GTA 5 seriously win best soundtrack...
