That shit happened already? I thought it started on the 11th.
-
You want to know why? No Fallout.
-
Of course it was, that's the only reason to watch it.
-
So it seems.
-
The guest host was a complete moron who made awkward inappropriate jokes and just acted like a total tool. It was fairly obvious he didn't care about being there.
-
Douchey co-host, awkward interviews, underwhelming news, mostly. Saving graces were No Man's Sky and TTG GoT. And I saw Joel Banderas afterwards too. Those actual awards were really crap too, just Joel McHale saying the winner to a few studio claps. I thought this was supposed to be an awards show. Uhh. You know what I mean. Golden Joysticks and Games BAFTAs should blow this out of the water.
-
If anything worth my time was shown it wouldn't have been bad. Basically, if a new Gears was shown or Halo it would have made up for everything else that happened to be terrible. I honestly can't believe I sat their and watched the whole thing.
-
Watch Angry joe's vid if anyone needed convincing. It was an absolute mess.
-
my favorite vgas is still the one where jack -blam!-ing black hosted it. the dude is on a whole 'nother level of awesomeness

Edited by OptimusPrime 15: 12/9/2013 9:40:44 PMMGRR should have won best soundtrack. WTF were they thinking? None of the songs in GTA V are original and made for the game. Stupid... The whole show was one piece of product placement and bad joke after another. The co-host even admitted it. And he also admitted he was completely smashed and he acted like it. He obviously didn't want to be there besides the fact he was being paid for it. The sets looked like shit too. It was complete SHIT. This show is the reason that most of the world's population thinks video games are for violent, stupid, biopolar, antisocial, retards that live in their parent's basements and don't lose their virginity until they're well into their thirties and are most likely to pick up a gun and shoot up a school. Conan O'Brien would have made a better host than this asshole.

The host was drunk and a dick. Every joke they made was extremely awkward. Every time Joel clapped silence came after. They spent 1 hour talking about some weird ass game.Loiter squad made the cringe fest surpass Joel's cringe fest. No Mans Sky saved the show. Then lastly we got rap sung by a guy who had his pants falling off and someone with a face tattoo. The "Saving" grace was Sleepwalking, but i'm pretty sure the singer was drunk

I can't put it in words Maybe piece of -blam!-ing shit

VGX doesn't exist. It was a rumor started by the Internet. It's just a bad dream.
-
Someone made this gem and I thank them for it. Best of VGX. Now, I genuinely like Keighley and the idea of VGX and I think the format was better than in previous years. It was wonderful to see developers able to discuss their games and to get a bit of insight into the development of these monolithic titles, which is something that scarcely reaches the general public. Game development is costly, time consuming, and difficult and any way that the industry can shed some light on that and humanize the development is good in my book. So kudos to them on attempting to do that. But, sadly, it felt a tad rushed, unrehearsed and Joel Mchale was being an ass to an extreme degree.
-
I actually like Keighley, but Joel and whatever the hell you want to call those "bands" ruined it entirely. Most of the dev interviews were enjoyable (when Joel wasn't being an idiot).
-
The host was a -blam!-ing idiot and does not know about gaming and Geoff kehigly looked like he was annoyed by him I could tell by his stance and I also noticed that Geoff was getting very upset
-
Did MGRR win soundtrack of the year?
-
It was pretty cringe worthy.
-
There's been so little talk of it I didn't even know they actually happened.
-
I could care less about the GTA soundtrack. More world premieres less talking. No Viral videos or that bizarre video about the Donkey Kong tournament
-
That was no gaming awards it was a music event.
-
Apparently it was worse than Big Rigs and Colonial Marines combined. That's pretty bad.
-
No Man's Sky was interesting.
-
I heard it was bad but that makes me want to watch it. Though I doubt anything can beat the year 2010 year (I think it was.). Or the year Skyrim was announced. That teaser had me jizzing in my pants
-
The format was weird, the guest-host was weird, the interviews were weird (mostly due to Joel as the guest-host), and so the entire experience had no choice but to be weird.
-
I don't watch it anymore, it was god awful last year and why should I when I can just watch all the trailers on the internet later?
