So much for the "master race", am I right?

BF4 is a great game, don't get me wrong, but it's not an original idea like the other nominees. Video games with explosions and guns have their place in the gaming industry, but the market is so oversaturated with them, and people just want something new and original to play, because few developers are delivering a new and original experience. You also have to remember that PC gamers (for the most part) are different gamers than console gamers. I'm not saying that all console gamers are like this, but the majority like shooters and RPGs, AND THAT'S NOT A BAD THING, but the thing is that, that's all you play for the most part. I'm not saying that all PC gamers are like this, but the majority like to try out new and original games, and the indie gaming scene is HUGE on the PC, and the indie gaming scene has pumped out a TON of AMAZING games in the past few years on the PC. So while yes, Battlefield 4 (since it was the only AAA nominee) is a great game and has its place, when something good and more original pops up, people will tend to vote for the latter.
