Does this really irritate anybody else? It's as if they care more about selling people a beta and worrying about the issues much later rather than improving the step-back of an experience that the Xbox One is in comparison to the 360.
• No setting to view HDD (VERY big deal, since can't manage things like game saves, installed games, content, apps, etc.)
• No media server streaming capabilities
• No external HDD support that was PROMISED at launch
• No way of finding out battery life in the system other than lack of vibration
• No longer can invite people to games
• Friends and followers is a mixed-up system that shouldn't be
• Can't listen to music, even in the horrid Xbox Music app, without a snapped window
Feel free to list any that I missed and I'll include that. ALL of the things listed are features that exist on Xbox 360, which includes the ability to add someone as a friend and have that said someone see the friend request appear, unlike with the new follower system on XO.
I want a date for this much-needed update, and I have a feeling that M$ is going to delay it as much as possible, even as far as March 2014. XO is in no way my "one place for entertainment" if I can't -blam!-ing stream my -blam!-ing shit from my -blam!-ing PC.

It has only been a little over a week since the console launched. I wouldn't expect any word of a TU until we get towards the next holiday.
-
this is why I never buy new systems in the first year
-
They need to update the XBL side of things. NOW! -No recent players list -profiles are bland as hell! (No motto, bio, location, name) Seriously what the fuck?! -No notifications -Friends list is a chaotic pile of trash. (middle button should bring up FL! I also don't give a shit about the "feed" scrap it.)
• No setting to view HDD (VERY big deal, since can't manage things like game saves, installed games, content, apps, etc.)
The lack of this is a feature, not a drawback. The fact of the matter is that the majority of console users don't bother with storage management. They don't care about it. So Microsoft decided not to waste time and money implementing it. It's what's best for business.

I blame............Obama

Really, XB1 needs a system update on inviting people to games, no HDD and no way to find out battery life? I think one question is simple. The -blam!- MS?
-
Will they have a update that includes themes for the dashboard. I've been playing at a friends and got tired of the black theme.
-
As far as battery life, you can use a phone charger for the controller. I'm doing it now.

The Xbox one isn't missing the ability to invite someone to a game. You simply invite them to a game party and as soon as they pop in their game the system automatically sends them the invite. Just because the invite system is vastly different doesn't mean it isn't there.

*Waits for Beta Ray Bill to say something stupid*

Actually, ive read three tutorials, or seen them on streaming pc content to the xb1, its your failure at not being able to do it.
-
There also needs to be stuff on the Xbox Store. All I see is season passes.
