Man of Steel all the way! I'm not even sure what would cause someone to enjoy Superman Returns more than Man of Steel, or at all. Everything Sucked about Superman Returns, especially because it was made in 2006. We had the technology and the actors to make a kickass superhero movie, as was proved by the dark knight trilogy, so why didn't they? Man of Steel on the other hand, was by far the best version of superman put on film, and it really showed what he could do according to the comics, not lifting up islands of kryptonite that isn't green and reversing time by spinning the earth backwards. His fight with Zod was amazing, the backstory on krypton was great, I can literally only find a small handfull of things that weren't amazing about Man of Steel, the main one being that he didn't work at the daily planet until the very end of the movie, and that they didn't include Jimmy Olsen. They had f*cking Steve Lombard, but no Jimmy Olsen? wtf? But I digress. Also- Comment on why you picked what you did, especially if you preferred Superman Returns. If you haven't seen one or the other, just say so, don't vote for the one that you have seen just because you don't know anything about the other one. Edit: Now that man of steel is overwhelmingly winning this poll, can somebody try to explain why the majority of critics preferred superman returns?
