Wtf... I'm in dual enrollment for Pre-Cal in high school and I paid my fees already for this class and credits. The college I'm getting the credits from have the nerve to charge me THAT much. Apparently, it's from out of state tuition... I've lived here since I was like 5 years old. WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THAT -blam!-ING MONEY? This is exactly why people aren't educated enough in this country, we charge too damn much, I feel sorry for those who want to travel to another college in another state, only to be bombarded with fees just for being an outside resident, unless they have scholarships. God... My account even says I don't have fees. UPDATE: Looks like they were in the wrong, everything is paid and whatnot on a tab I didn't click. No balance and it turns out the letter was over a week old. That was a scare to me and the family. We would've given them hell if that was a mistake. Either way, I don't see why there's "out of state" even on there in the first place...
