Microsoft executive Albert Panello confirmed that PlayStation 4 can be connected to Xbox One through the latter's HDMI-in port, thus allowing PS4 games to run within an Xbox One overlay.
Panello also confirmed that, using this setup, players can multi-task between the two rival consoles. "Any application can be snapped to a game... so if you wanted to be playing Ryse and Killzone at the same time, you could snap that," he said.
(Killzone is a PlayStation exclusive while Ryse is an Xbox exclusive.)
Evidently, any console that outputs to HDMI can be connected to Xbox One in the same mannar. Such consoles include Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
Dafuq?

Pretty cool

That's exactly how I have my 360 plugged into my One. Power both systems "On" and just use Snap to play whichever one I want.
-
also can double the latency making it completely worthless
-
And thus the glorious age of some strange new creature that emerged from the union of two rival machines begins.
-
So does that mean you can play other console games and stay in an Xbox live party with people? I mean you can do this anyway just by rigging both consoles up separately but I guess this would be easier?

Sure is cOLD in here. And the HDMI in port compresses the picture input and messes up the gamma ratio, so I wouldn't recommend it.
-
So I could hook up my 360 to it nd play old games through it?
-
Sure is cOLD Anyway, you can make a Xbone Caterpillar if you really want to with the HDMI port
-
Someone who was stupid enough to buy both try this.
-
Gotta love Xbox.
-
Whilst it's cool, I'm not sure why anyone would want to be doing that. The latency would most likely suck ._.
-
Maybe I could use it now to
#gaming
How do play two games at once?
-
Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
