I actually do feel bad about that opinion, but I still stand by it.
-
Why? Why would you stand by it at all?

I just think that the reason raype victims have so much grief is because of the way people treat them afterwards. It isn't like I think it should be legal, I just think that the actual act of raype is not the reason why the victims become more troubled afterwards. Like I said, I get that I should feel bad about that, but this is from someone who knows a raype victim personally and has watched their struggle. If you didn't want controversial opinions you probably shouldn't have come to an unpopular opinion thread...

I like to question things, even my own beliefs. If you didn't want questions you shouldn't have posted. Imagine if you will, someone thrusting you against a wall, tearing your clothes off, and then penetrating into you until they were satisfied. How would you feel? Would you want justice? Would you want things like that to stop happening? Do you think you could pull up your trousers and say "Well, I'll be absolutely fine after that." and then walk away? Did you know that most victims don't tell anyone out of fear that they will be shamed or blamed or humiliated even though they are the victim?

Well... I agree with what you said except for the middle paragraph soooo, where do we go from here? Handshake? *extends hand*

What don't you agree with. *Keeps hand at side; debates whether to extend it*
