For those of you who watch the Avatar spinoff series, how did you like the book 2 finale? Did you like that they stole all her past selves? What about the giant blue Korra monster? A penny for your thoughts?

I enjoyed the final battle, but I wish Jinora's part was better explained. As for her past lives, I'm glad they're gone. It'll be good to see Korra develop as a character on her own. I'm glad they didn't do a cop-out like in the Book One finale (which I'll forgive since they didn't originally intend on making more seasons afterwards).

Have you accepted our lord and savior, Jinora?

KAIJU KORRA
But seriously, I preferred having the spirit world be a mysterious, separate place, not just a second world that could be entered at will. Spirits are now, essentially, just another type of animal.
I wasn't expecting the permanent loss to her past lives, so that was pretty neat even if it was sad. I just hope a similar ending wont happen next season. Korra already lost her Avatar title in both seasons now, and having that in the next season would be a cop out.
