I STRONGLY INSIST these functions get added on the site.

1. Let the person who gets a lot of "comment likes" know who liked them. Short explanation, I hate posting something, getting a lot of likes in a short amount of time, then not knowing who everyone but the last person to like it was, let us expand that and see somehow. 2. Follower acceptances If someone wants to follow you and be alerted to your activities, you should receive a notification that either lets you accept, or decline that, notification so not just everyone can randomly follow you. Then, only people who have followed you will know what you're up to and be able to see certain details. 3. Trending system Let there be a view counter that represents what threads should be trending. The more views it's getting, the more it's in Trending. How this has not already been implemented yet I have no idea, but it wouldn't be something privy to any random user. Just Mods and Bungie people could see it, but if we were told that was how things got determined to be in the section, most would have no problems with it probably. 4. Cobra's suggestion: Hiding Tags for Chrome Hiding certain tags isn't something I do myself, but having a function for it on Chrome would be very welcome for some people I bet when they have that ability on Mozilla. 5. Italics, Quoting, Bold, Spoilers, Underline, and so on in Private Messages. This one speaks for itself, goddamn would I like to be able to italicize and such in Private Messages. What does everyone think of these suggestions?

      • Or, better idea, how about we just go back to the old Flood instead of this twitter bullshit that has near-endless flaws that the web team don't seem to give two shits about.

            1) The whole notification system should be unstacked. Each action that causes a notification should generate a unique entry, not say 5 people replied to... 2) The whole point of a following system, rather than a friend system, is that you don't need to accept anything. If someone wanted, they could go to your profile and find out where you've been posting anyway. Following doesn't give anyone any more access than they would have otherwise. 3) I don't think views should constitute trending. Reading something and deciding it's shitty is the same as reading something and enjoying it. Trending should be based on likes, dislikes, votes, comments and time. In any case, the current trending sort needs an overhaul.
