Mostly all the jobs I have applied for have assessment tests that take 30-45 minutes. I've always wondered if Bungie has the same process accepting new employees. What kinds of questions do you think they would ask if there were an actual test?
Disclaimer: Questions contained in this post are not actual questions from a "true" Bungie Assessment Test.

There are different tests assigned to applicants whose resume finds their way onto the desks of our recruitment team. In terms of the client engineering test, which I had the pleasure of taking almost 5 years ago to date, questions spanned many areas of programming focusing on math, algorithms, low-level optimizations, problem solving, and even prototyping a game of sorts given a specific theme (not going into details of what that was). Today, depending on the team you might be interviewing for, those questions can be very different. For example, if you were interviewing to be on our content tools team of which I am a part of, you might find some questions related more specifically to C# and UI. Of course, the take-home exam is just the price of admission to the in-person gauntlet that awaits. I will say this, my experience interviewing at Bungie is probably one of the most challenging and memorable experiences that I've faced in my professional and academic career. Check out the "Breaking In" articles to read stories of how others have found their way through the doors of Bungie, you might find a couple gems in there.
