Who else thought Mirror's Edge was overrated?
It was a cool idea, but it got old for me pretty quickly. I don't remember how much of it I got through, but I don't think I even made it halfway through the game before I was bored of it.
It was refreshing to see something different, but it just got stale for me quickly. Any thoughts?

Overrated even though hardly anyone rated it highly. Makes sense.

Edited by A Metroid: 11/19/2013 4:37:23 AMAm I the only one that thought Bioshock: Infinite was overrated? Mirrors Edge is enjoyable for one playthrough.

I loved it. Still love it. Soundtrack, art design, female as lead character, and finally a first person game that didn't rely on you to shoot up the whole place to win. The main story wasn't even very long (sadly) but it's a refreshing game to me. I'm excited for the reboot as well.

Overrated? lolno It was super underrated.
-
No......just no
-
Good idea, shame about the execution. The whole game should have been more like the DLC.

Were there even mirrors?

Underrated at best loved it!
-
To me it's one of the best games that I have played its one of my top Franchises.

Faakk Youuuu!

I really, really enjoyed Mirror's Edge. Im looking forward to the next one.
-
Are you -blam!-ing serious? Mirror's Edge was underrated. Honestly.
-
I get what everyone on both sides is saying, so here's my two cents: it's a somewhat obscure game that doesn't get much attention, but the attention it does get is way too positive. It tends to be put on a pedestal when, in my opinion, it was interesting at first but eventually I realized I was playing it to finish it, not because I enjoyed it.

Overrated? No one ever talks about that game. How could it be overrated? I liked it. Best game of its kind at the time (if free running shooter existed in another game).
-
Nooooo way. Massively underrated in my opinion.
-
you're wrong.

I actually FINISHED it not too long ago. Played through parts of it a few times. I really love that game, but I do understand what you're saying. I think that if they want to keep the sequel interesting, they should try to give the gameplay more variety. Not sure what they'd add, though, I'd have to think about it.

It was an interesting idea that was done well, but it wasn't the revolutionary masterpiece that some people make it out to be.
