The PS4 has had some great things said about it, but it has also been receiving quite a bit of negative statements as well. A bit too much. Not saying the Xbox One wont have any problems, I'm just stating the PS4 has a lot.

My personal opinion is Sony made a PS2 V2, which is flipping epic because it's centered around gaming and playing movies when you get bored. It's not built as a home entertainment money guzzler.

The only thing that the written reviews said is that the games aren't amazing yet. So to say that the reviews "aren't looking so great" is kind of stupid because the worth of a console is most certainly not determined with its release games.

Edited by Apotheosis: 11/17/2013 9:49:36 PMEurogamer
With the hardware in hand, any lingering doubts about the quality of the final product can finally be laid to rest. The PlayStation 4 is an impressive, very well-engineered piece of kit, delivering a true generational leap in console performance in a chassis that is actually smaller than the second generation "Slim" PS3
Joystiq:
The PlayStation 4 is a well-designed console that packs a lot of features into a single package while still keeping games front-and-center. The ability to capture video and screenshots and share them with your friends is a simple, practically seamless process. Live streaming is phenomenally easy to set up and fun to do. Remote Play is a big win for PlayStation Vita owners. Movies, music and TV are there if you want them, but the PlayStation 4 keeps your games and the friends you play them with in the spotlight.
CVG:
Today, Sony is the platform holder that is more in touch with the desires of its market than Microsoft or Nintendo. The PlayStation 4 is relatively cheap, momentously powerful and, across both the hardware and software, carries an underlying sense that the customer experience has dictated design.
Ummm... These are all from the complete reviews you've listed. I didn't bother with Polygon, a company that says The Last of Us is "dead inside" and where you can hear the contempt in the reviewer's voice as he goes over KZ: Shadowfall, doesn't have any credit from me. The other two were incomplete. One of them was only a paragraph. I'm not sure why you listed them except to lend a sense of false credibility to your title. The biggest complaint (one that I think is a silly one) is that it is not a innovative console, and another said that it the plastic was a bit too flexible for his liking. There's also that the launch lineup isn't all that fantastic, but that's a problem for both consoles. All in all, I feel like the reviews have been very favorable. And so far as I've heard, the consoles have had a .4% failure rate, which is phenomenal. I feel like my post feels a bit antagonistic, and I apologize for that, but you've clearly drawn an exaggerated conclusion and I felt I needed to correct it.

Edited by Hallinskioi: 11/17/2013 9:00:07 PMLol Amazon reviews shouldn't ever be used as factual data ever. For anything. EDIT: Lol your youtube links are a pile of shit anyway.

Edited by AngryBrute: 11/18/2013 2:02:37 AMA review for a console is completet pointless. It evolves over its life and gets better. To place a number on hardware is totally useless.

Amazon reviews are beyond shit. When I was looking at reviews for the trumpet I recently got some kid was butthurt and gave a one star review because he dented the leadpipe and they wouldn't fix it for him for free because he didnt get a warranty.
-
I'm pretty sure Arsonall187 is completely biased with Microsoft so he'll think that the PS4 is crap. Too bad it's only him though.
-
Judging the consoles on launch capabilities is problematic. Despite some of those reviews being nothing more than clickbait, Sony does have a ways to go in terms of delivering everything they promised... I think Polygon summed it up pretty well saying it's a great gaming console that doesn't have any great games at the moment.

Edited by OnyxShadow: 11/17/2013 8:23:27 PMAll the people with the #microsoftsucks and #xboxonesucks tags that had a system failure happen to them, must be feeling really fu*king stupid now.
