Omega is actually $14.99 not $9.99 like in the poll. Leviathan actually being $9.99. I dun -blam!-ed up!
So got enough currency to get The Citadel DLC. Downloading the 2nd part of the 2 part DLC on the Xbox Market place (joke about that it's in 2 parts) and wondering, since I have $17.01 left what else to buy.
Leviathan is more story driven, but the first missions are "walk around the lab and click A". This is the one I lean more toward to from the rest.
From Ashes is the dreaded "Day One" DLC that just happens to have pieces of it on the disc. Gives the Prothean ally, Javik, and gun. He has interesting stuff to say through out the game. But otherwise not much.
Omega is the most action driven one but not much in story besides for two NPC characters. The one that's least appealing to me.
Any errors here feel free to make fun of me and correct me(not taking "lel mass effect" as a valid one).
Citadel.

Omega was lame.

Edited by Hunter: 11/16/2013 4:34:02 PMUnfortunately I haven't played ME3, yet. But Leviathan sounds to be the best.
LOL! Leviathan is $10, not $15! LOLLOLOL!

JK.
DO NOT get Omega, it literally adds nothing but linear corridor shooting galleries and a few EMS points. You will get nothing out of it. From Ashes is an ESSENTIAL element to the game, it changes a number of scenes on Thessia which reveals whole new pieces of lore that you won't get from the game without him. Leviathan is a relatively good DLC. It's got some frustratingly dull shooting gallery sections, but is more focused on characters and exploration with some huge additions to the lore with the Leviathans themselves. Worth getting. Citadel is perfect if you want a jumping-off point where you can just pretend the ending never happened, it's heavily focused on the squadmates but doesn't have a particularly deep narrative. Still worth getting.

This one believes Leviathan should have been the focus of the main story line or at least part of it.
-
Leviathan and Citadel were the best.
-
Omega is badass if you play renegade.

Edited by Dusty: 11/16/2013 4:11:27 PMFrom Ashes > Leviathan >>>>>> Omega Omega is almost LoTSB levels of dull
From Ashes is the dreaded "Day One" DLC that just happens to have pieces of it on the disc.
I honestly have no problem with Day One DLC like From Ashes. If you've got content that can't be finished before the deadline but can be finished after the game has "gone gold" in time for release - I'd rather have it than not have it at all.
-
From the Ashes Omega was shit Leviathan told you things you can find out from the start Citadel was a sit-com and should never be mentioned
-
I know this is irrelevant, but who are you romancing?

Edited by JLx24: 11/16/2013 5:03:16 AMLeviathan is a very good story, I liked citadel more though because it was just plain awesome.

Leviathan is great, but short. It gives you an ability called something along the lines of "dominate" or something. It's probably my favorite ability. From Ashes is equally great since you get Javik, one of my favorite characters. If I had to decide, it'd be between those two. I haven't played Omega though.
-
Edited by Verachi: 11/16/2013 5:07:37 AMI believe I got Omega for $5 :]. Omega was pretty good plus you get a good power out of it. Leviathan was good for the story and from Ashes I still haven't gotten that one, I heard it's hella short.
-
From Ashes even though its already on the disc
-
leviathan actually gives a shred of substance to the reaper plot thread, but from ashes is by far the best one.
-
O shit I -blam!-ed up! Omega is $14.99 not $9.99...crap.
-
Either from Ashes or Leviathan, Omega is not worth it. If I had to pick one, from ashes then. Javik is a great character and having him along on missions is quite fun.
-
Get From Ashes :D Javik is pretty cool.
-
If you want a new partner, get From Ashes. I used Javik for one mission (which is all the DLC was really good for). I would go with the Leviathan DLC. Great story.
-
I think they're all worth it. Javik was a good edition the the game I felt well worth $10. Leviathan was an awesome DLC, I loved the fact finding but I'd agree that it gets boring after you know the solutions. Still, the missions in that dlc are fantastic. I never played omega. Heard it was goodish
