Lets Be Honest (Work)
Hey guys, so I'm at work right now being very UN-professional and UN-productive as I just stroll through the forums. So lets be honest, what's the craziest things you've had happen to you or that you have ever done at work.

3 RepliesI had to drag some fat old woman out that was acting completely crazy and flailing about while cussing non-stop at my previous job, ironically at a bar. Never had any problems at all at the cannabis dispensary. Really says something about how backwards this country has been for so long.

3 RepliesI work for the military designing drones, so our office gets a lot of hate mail. One time we got a threat that someone would burn down the building and kill us all. We just took it as just another hippie that had vomited on a keyboard out of a sudden jolt of rage. But lo-and behold, two weeks later a guy was seen trying to jump the fence with a gas tank and a lighter. This guy tried to enter a fully functional military base, and he thought he was going to burn it down. The guy was such a pussy he couldn't even make it over the barbed wire fencing.

the left side of my jaw popped open while yawning one day. Being the good worker I am I stayed the final 2 hours of work with a dislocated jaw and drove one handed in rush hour traffic to the ER no joke. It was dislocated for about 5-6 hours.It wasn't something I could pop back in myself either, it needed a doctor to set back in place without me damaging myself. I was on Hardcore difficulty setting that day for life.

3 RepliesI used to work at a family owned restaurant as a waiter, (the restaurant was basically a large house with all the utilities of one). sometimes on sundays when there were no customers I would go into the pantry and take all of the industrial cans of marinara, go into the bathroom, and fill the bathtub with marinara sauce. I would then sit in the tub and submerge myself completely in the sauce, and pretend I am a meatball.

1 ReplyWhen I worked at McDonalds, my best mate would squirt mayonnaise everywhere pretending that he was playing soggy biscuit. He'd also flick pickles and stick shit in the deep fryer while people were trying to cook, hahaha. I guess I should mention he was fired shortly after. I'm actually surprised it took them so long to do so (several months of this)

I had a co-worker get angry for not spreading a secret. She told me she was into my cubicle buddy and not to tell anyone; I didn't and she came back a week later and was mad that no one knew about the secret.

I work at a golf course. Craziest thing that's happened while I was working was a guy teed off and hit a car coming up to the proshop, which then swerved into a tree. Luckily I didn't have to help with the cleanup.

At the restaurant I used to work for we had a seriously drunk guy try to steal the mic from a Beatles cover band.

I take about an hour nap every day, while on the clock. That's all I can really think of at the moment.

1 ReplyAn old 60's van went up in a fireball in the parking lot. We all just looked at the front side of the store (mostly a window), and saw a huge smoke cloud rushing at the store. Another time two very large gentlemen of the African persuasion came in, walked over to the camera display, whipped out bowie knives, cut the security restraints off some DSLRs and walked out with them. They crashed in a ditch a few blocks away and were quickly caught. The day a coworker died, bitchy old housewives yelled at some of my other coworkers for crying. There were also more that tried to lodge formal complaints against the store when we closed his department down for an hour while we all went to his funeral. A family of Le American Bears came in, and they smelled so bad that I went straight to the bathroom and vomited after being within 10 feet of them for five minutes. There are some other highlights, but you'll have to get me drunk first.

Boss didn't show up one Friday and the service guys (I work at a Ford dealership) were supposed to be cleaning the shop. They got done at around 9 am, so we spent the rest of the morning and a few hours after lunch sitting back in the detail department playing Uno.

The day before yesterday, a machine broke, and I was told to retrieve the material from a furnace cart that was supposed to be poured in the machine to be cleansed. While I was retrieving the bits, I accidentally cut myself, and got a 4cm wound on my forearm. I had to get stitches. I'm currently looking at around 14 days free of work because of it.
