So youtube just forced me to use my Gmail account.
I was watching the RT Podcast and then went to the Youtube homepage and I noticed I was signed out. So I click sign in and it gave me 2 options, use my original channel name or my Gmail email and picture.
Tried my original name 10 times and didn't work, picked the Gmail one and worked 1st time. This is bollocks.

I don't really mind that, I just find that the channel layout is absolutely atrocious and needlessly awkward to navigate.

YouTube is really bent on this, and I can't for the life of me understand why. Does anyone actually use their real name willingly?

1 ReplyHas anyone been having problems loading videos in higher quality? Just yesterday it started crashing on me if I changed it from the default 360p. Did this on Chrome and IE.
