Sometimes my hands get a little clammy and then that nasty substance akin to dead skin gets all over my controllers and makes them groddy and hard to clean, I'm considering getting some snug racing gloves or something similar so I stop dirtying them up.
Anyone else or am I the ugly duckling?

A little bit.. But only when I am in an intense match ot something. :p
-
Eh sometimes but not really.
-
Nope.

I saw a controller yesterday in my local asda. Built in cooling fans in the hand grips, for the exact problem you are experiencing
-
My hands used to get that way back in the day playing gears of war 1. I miss that feeling and haven't found a game that had that same feeling
-
I do but only in stealth games (Splinter Cell especially) and really intense moments (Last man on CS or SnD)
-
Happens to me all the time.
-
I used to. Not sure what changed but it doesn't happen anymore.
-
I clean my controllers once every two weeks because of this.

Edited by PandaJerk007: 11/15/2013 2:16:17 AMThis hasn't ever happened to me, but I guess that just means you're getting really into the game (which could be thought of as a good thing :) ) and it's apparently happening with some other people, so I wouldn't worry too much

Edited by Kilo: 11/15/2013 2:30:05 AMOnly when games used to be competitive. So it hasn't happened to me in several years. Most of the time my trigger fingers get cold.

His palms are sweaty Knees weak arms are heavy There's vomit on his sweater already Mom's spaghetti

If it's a close game then yes.
-
I've never had this problem, although when I was a kid when the Wii first came out, I did end up sweaty after some of my longer gaming marathons.
-
I do when I play SWBF2 online.
-
Only on days where its 93+ degrees
-
I just put baby powder on my hands before I game, or do lots of typing now that I think about it. Keeps my hands nice and dry.

Only when I get an adrenaline rush. When I'm gaming casually, no sweat.
Take a toothpick and run it through your controller's crevices and around various buttons and triggers to find out how dirty humans really are.
Edited by DeleteMyAcct3: 11/13/2013 3:58:55 AMThey make controller grips now. Old trick is take Mitchum deodorant and rub it all over your hands and let it dry. That's an old trick for job interviews if that situation applied to you.
-
Sometimes, usually only if the room is already too warm. A good trick is to wash your hands thoroughly with soap when they get like that, it dries them out and gives you a better grip.

I sweat the white paint off my first Xbox 360 controller where my palms made contact. It was really gross. Didn't have the same problem with the black ones. Not sure if I sweat less or the paint is just better.

yep, it happens usually when I'm on forge for too long.
