Interesting, actually I have a friend who, just for kicks, was a hobo for 3 months when he was 19. He rode a bus out to the west coast, worked as a waiter, alternated between sleeping at bus stops and such until he roomed up with a hilarious drug addict on the fringe on San Francisco, and then came home a few months later. Because he wasn't legally a tenant of the guy who owned the crappy apartment he was homeless. Oh and he bathed in a fountain in Detroit lol!
