Driving without liability insurance you should nerve be allowed to drive again. Thoughts?
-
What if you're a extraordinarily wealthy and can afford to cover yourself? The punishment doesn't seem to fit the crime. I'd be ok with intoxicated drivers having their licenses revoked, but not because of liability insurance.
-
>Banning people from driving cars because they refuse to be forced to buy insurance. TOP KEK.
-
No, their wages can be garnished and things can be taken from them for it, but those punishments are what should already be in place to prevent them from making mistakes, not a lifelong sanction.
-
never* Penalized, yes. Banned from driving forever? We all saw what happened with Prohibition.
-
That's insane and ludicrous.
-
Nope, Just fine the skin off their back. Which should be roughly the same that people pay for insurance over here...
-
Liability...as in Third Party Insurance? Just an Australian thing I guess. No don't take their license just fine em till they do it, after multiple offences impound the car till they do. *sips tea*
-
Of course not. You should obviously be penalized, but not punished for your whole life for a mistake.
-
That's retarded.
-
Or until you obtain liability insurance?
-
Ehhh, no, just fine 'em so they understand they won't save any money doing it.
