Halo Waypoint on Twitter has announced that more Halo books after Karen Traviss' Mortal Dictata are coming. You can see that, here. Personally I'm a bit cautious when it comes to new Halo books. Greg Bear's books were good while Traviss has earned her nickname of Travissty for a reason. Plenty of things they could talk about, the Covenant living in Rio de Janiero mentioned in Spartan Ops could be cool in a District 9-style story, without the whole human turning into an alien plot of course.
Thoughts?

Maybe the only Halo things I will ever buy again

Why are there Covenant living on earth?

Karen Traviss is shit though. Not like I've read any of the Halo books anyway.
the Covenant living in Rio de Janiero mentioned in Spartan Ops could be cool in a District 9-style story
Wanted this ever since it was brought up in Episode 1... More on Ancient Human lore as well, plexy pl0x.

at this point, as long as it's not traviss, reed, or dietz, i'll take him/her getting another hard sci fi author like bear to take on the actual game's story would be fantastic 2disappointed in schlerf's departure though :(

I wish Eric Nylund would write them again :(
