If you are, then why? I bet you anything you can't give ANY reasonable explanation.
Edit: I'm actually a Christian, but not brainwashed enough to be a raging hypocrite.

I think everyone should be allowed to be with any consenting individual. However, to play devil's advocate, marriage is a religious ceremony between two people and should not be changed to fit societal desires. A civil partnership is the same thing minus the religion. I'm not going to try changing a religion for people's rights since it infringes on someone else's faith (even if I don't agree with the faith). People shouldn't practise a religion they don't agree with.
No matter what I say in this post, it won't be good enough. No matter how fervently I defend my viewpoint or how logical my argument is, it will never be good enough in this thread. Do you know why? Because you made this thread for one reason, to ridicule anyone who expresses their opinion. I know the minute I would say I don't agree with homosexuality, I'll have at least three people ready to sprint up and tell me why I'm a retard and how I'm actually a repressed homosexual. Are you proud of this?
This. So much -blam!-ing this. This is what these shitty political/religious threads consist of in #Offtopic.
-
It's biologically and biblically incorrect so whether your an atheist or religious it's still against your morals. Not only that, but it's a form of retardation because they clearly don't understand your not made for the same sex. The main reason people do it is because of bandwagon and/or they just "need" attention.

Go ahead, let them marry. It's not like they will be reproducing.

I am Catholic, but I find gay marriage fine.

If you are actually against gay marriage, I'm sorry but you're brainwashed.

The Catholic Church (i.e. 1/7 of the world), all of Africa, and most of Asia.

-blam!-.

Me. Why should does brony fags marry? To stick ponies on their dicks then up their husbands assholes in those gay mlp orgy parties?
-
I can see no honest reason why one should be.

First off: It's not natural. The USB was meant to go into a USB port, not the disc drive. Secondly: My religion is against gay marriage. This doesn't mean I have a problem with gays, just Colorado.
-
Here's the deal: I'm all for equal rights, but I can understand why people don't want marriage and gay partnerships to be labeled equivalent. Western marriage has religious roots, so it's only fitting that it remains religious. But because the United States is constitutionally required to separate church and state (and rightly so), heterosexual couples cannot be given something that homosexual couples are denied. The best solution is to give homosexual couples equal-benefit civil unions. Everybody wins, unless of course you're a religious fundamentalist douchebag or a self-righteous liberal asshole.

I am.

This is the internet. Nobody cares about your opinion.

Me. I am. I am entirely against any and all marriage being tied to the government institution of tax benefits. Marriage is an entirely religious construct, so why, why, pray tell do we allow specific couples receive government benefits from a religious tradition? Everyone should be getting civil unions, recognized the way marriages are legally, but simply the same as applying for your lease or "marriage license with another. Then let people throw an orgy, or get married, or whatever celebration they wish to religiously or non religiously uphold. #getridofinstatutionalizedmariageotliterallymakesnosence. Tl:dr people should get civil unionized, not married, regardless of the penis/vagina ratio of said couple.

It's equal protection under the law. Religion can't deny that; this isn't the year 0. Biological incompatibility? Who freakin' cares at this point? There are enough people on this planet. If gays can't have children, it's really not a big deal. If the entire planet were full of homosexuals, then it'd be a problem.
