The new Republican Party logo (concept)
Hi guys, I made a concept logo for the republican party to help give off a modern image. I think it's nice. Also, this isn't a political thread. This is just opinions on the logo.

Logos tend to be very flat and minimalistic. I think the Republican Party should try for a friendly, welcoming image. Their [url=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ab/GOP_Logo1.svg]current logo[/url] is okay for that. The rounded type doesn't look super serious, and they managed to keep the elephant. The party logos have to appeal to a wide variety of people, and I think yours is too badass. I could see a Republican Captain America using your logo as a shield, in a gritty reboot directed by Christopher Nolan. Yours is edgy, but the current logo is something any Republican would stick on their car or wear on a t-shirt.

I agree with Faliz, OP you need some red, white, and blue for the logo. If it's gonna represent my party it needs American colors.
