Is Lone Wolves (H3) Broke?
Hey, just wondering what is up with the ranking system?
I dont know if something's changed, but i just won 4 games of Lone Wolves (1st place) and didnt get any exp for 3 of them, and didnt even move up one level either. I logged in and out to try and get it to update but i guess its just not working. If i win a game of TS i usually change rank from just 1 game, so not moving after 4 games is just weird.
I also experience the same thing on MLG, winning games with no exp/level reward.

I won 3 games in a row back in the day before finally ranking up to a level 39, with a win/loss average of about 2-1 (win/loss meaning games I finished top 2 and games I didn't). Then I lost one game and went down to 38, another game and then 37. Won one; nothing. Lost another; down to 36. I raged off of that playlist and didn't touch it for several years. Went back, won 5 games in a row and didn't rank up once. So close to that Colonel...so close to that 40...I've always argued that the True Skill system is flawed and I despise it to my core. I will forever be a Strike Commander. #criesfordays

Just go play Halo 2 via Xbox connect and you will no longer care about any other game.

Did people quit/lag out from all four games? If so that can cause games to not register at first but it'll update eventually.

I appreciate the post about True Skill and I am very aware of how it works. The problem is, I cant remember a time that I haven't come top 2 in Lone Wolves so far, so according to true skill i should be progressing very quickly. At the opposite end, my Team Slayer rank is very variable after just 1 game, although that doesnt make any sense considering i've played hundreds of games at around 46-48 rank. Neither of these things change the fact that I haven't received exp though. 1st place win = 1 exp, no two ways about it.

6 RepliesH3 ranks were broken... Its like they punished you for playing unranked. I got over a thousand xp and they now I can't rank up past 35. I could win 10 in a row and not go up once.

That's really weird, you shouldn't rank up on every win but you should at least get exp on every win.
