I was a bit skeptical to think the responsiveness of the UI would be as fast as we've seen. But wow, after seeing this AND it being just a devkit. . . I'm impressed.
However they could have shown something more useful than IE

Looks pretty good. Does anyone know if there are adverts on the dashboard like with the 360?
-
But. . . but anonymous dev said the XBL/Dashboard were shit and buggy.
-
wow that's actually... fluid

I just wish we could customize our UI, add our own backgrounds and gamer pictures

Xbox One, welcome home.
-
Also, is it possible to snap it at the bottom of the screen? It'd seem like a much more convenient placement.

The guys talking really annoyed me.

i accidentally reported this thread because i had Camm's impersonation thread in another tab. :( on topic: i dont like it. if i want the internet i have my smart phone...
-
They could have handled it better, but man does it look good.

so great, i can not wait, soooo close, playing some BF4 while my Gf is watching tv, not bad at all!

I'm buying an XB1 as a tool for Indie Development, but I can't deny how much I'm going to love the easy-to-use interface. Voice commands this complex look like a gimmick that actually seems useful, but I honestly see myself disconnecting the Kinect so I'm not constantly accidentally turning my Xbox on when talking about Xbox over PC chat or something.
-
Huh, that's a lot more fluid than I thought it would be.

Edited by A Saturnalia: 10/31/2013 3:46:18 AMImpressive, but I don't understand why I would want to do all of that side by side...unless you are doing combo's or something. Although would be cool to be playing a game and still have netflix going on the side for her to watch while I'm playing a game.
