Well, we at least got a response on the lack of DLNA and MP3 support.
No external hard drive, audio CD or MP3 support? That is incredibly moronic. Especially considering that stuff was supported on PS3.
Nope. Also no DLNA support meaning that the odds of it being a "center of the living room" system is all but void. Online Multiplayer? No more "leaving it up to the developers", oh no. It just says PSN+ is required to play online. Most everything they said they were going to do the opposite of, to be better than Microsoft, has now become a lie. Admitted to by Sony's own PR department. So glad I'm getting the One. I at least don't have to have four other machines in my living room to house all my entertainment options. i can do everything with just the One. Definitely worth the extra $100 USD.

Whilst that is a hell of a read, it is certainly worth while to get to know more about what I'm getting. The only things that seemed a little... Odd/Didn't like was the lack of MP3 support - I can just play it through my PC next to me anyways. And the No to youtube, whilst I'm not a Youtube Uploader sort of person I would prefer to put game clips on there rather than Facebook but meh. All in All, that's sounding pretty good!

FLOWER! hell yes.
Can PS4 and PS3 users play together online, cross-platform? The functionality is technically possible and some developers may choose to support it for their titles.
Interesting, no?

What the hell...

Edited by nao: 10/30/2013 6:45:56 PM
Are users able to record, distribute or stream any gameplay video? No. Users may not be able to record certain areas within the game. Developers can select the area of restriction, and what will be restricted will depend on game titles. In these cases, recording will be temporarily suspended during the scene.
A couple things that stood out that I thought were bullshit. Obviously I'm still gonna buy the console as I wouldn't use either feature anyway, and am buying it purely for games. Still that's a couple negative marks for Sony imo.

Hey look, even more retarded restrictions..
