Destiny is a rip off.
At least Halo was [i]original[/i]. Destiny is literally just a combination of every single big name game out there right now. It literally Elder scrolls: Halo black ops shadow fall start of the wolfenstein and every game I havnt mentioned.
But in all seriousness, it really is just a mix of everything already out there and that's a huge disappointment.

Halo, by your logic, is also not original. You need to understand what "influence" means. Just because B is influenced by A, it does not mean B cannot be original.

(Steps behind rock) is the Forum troll...they tend to run rampant in the wild and here we see one in its natural habitat.. the Destiny forums; one should never attempt to contact the troll as it only feeds them and they become bigger with more contact... The correct thing to do (against all natural reaction) is to ignore the troll and not feed them the power they crave; eventually they will return to their Mother's hibernation chambers (ie. basement) and die if left to their own devices.

3 RepliesHonestly it's kinda hard to make anything truly "original" these days. Everything new is going to have some elements that make it seem "unoriginal". Destiny is a first person shooter, so you can say it is copying Call of Duty, Battlefield, or even Doom. Also you can say because it has aliens and it takes place in space, it copies Star Wars or Star Trek. Halo has those same elements, so technically you can say it is "unoriginal". But you need to know those elements don't make the game. It's the story, the characters, the experience. If those can make you feel like you've done something new, then you have something "original".

What a lot if people don't realize is that destiny was most likely [u]inspired[/u] by halo and elements from other games that's what a lot of people don't think it's as soon as they see it and it looks like a game that's a populate title that's already been realists they intently go "oh this a bloody copy of halo" just sayin think before you act
