When writing a story...
How should I write actions [i]done[/i] to my protaganist?
Such as when my character is beaten
Should I write it this way...

Or should I write it this way
[quote]B. The warden beat Daniel.[/quote]
Daniel is my protaganist. I want to write my entire story from his perspective. I'm wondering if this small thing makes a difference.
Does it?

B. A is too formal, it would be better suited to a biography or news article. I'm assuming you're writing a novel, so you want to keep the prose light and informal so the reader doesn't feel detached.
