Vendors, and crafting and cities oh my!
Bungie has said the last city will be a place where we can meet vendors, and gear up for the next battle. Does that mean the city might be the only place for vendors and modification tables forcing players to go back to Earth if they were on Venus or Mars? Now going back to the Last City will probably trigger a quick travel/cinematic of some sorts. Yet, I'm sure players would not want to go all the way back toEarth ( considering there won't be a quick travel back to their previous area) just for a mod table or vendor. Now hopefully if mod tables and vendors were in different places, it would be a lot more user convenient. This could also mean other civilized species on other planets, or humans who have settled there, or even Vanguard outposts, running and maintaining the shops and mod tables.
So what do you guys think: mod tables and vendors only in the city or spread out through the universe?

4 RepliesWell I'm quite sure that there will be smaller towns through the game. It's an RPG, I would be very surprised if there aren't things like a checkpoint or so to say an FOB. Just a small little place to trade, pick up a few new missions and or take a little rest.
