I can understand why Gojira was so fanatic about it, and the action scenes weren't that bad for me I actually enjoyed them quite a bit. I left him my questions in a PM so you can reply to this thread if you like, but it's just here to be a placeholder for our discussion later.
That is all.

I thought it wasan amazing movie

Edited by floppy: 1/15/2014 7:55:45 AMI didn't like it at all. If a movie has some lame acting and lack-luster story but has some really good action, like Pacific Rim, then I can like it. But Man of Steel had neither IMO. It tried putting Supermans whole origin into one 2 hour movie. The CGI is not up to par with the date of the movie. The LotR trilogy had better CGI and those are 10 years old. Not to mention Snyder's previous blockbusters 300 and Watchmen which also had better CGI. Edit: *notices date* I forget to check every time.

meh, it was a 1 time watch type of movie to me. Only good part was the music. Everything Hans Zimmer makes is amazing.

I didn't see it. I did see The Desolation of Smaug though...

Besides some character and dialogue issues, as well as a lack of emotion at times I thought it was good.

Edited by BADMAGIK: 1/15/2014 6:55:44 AMI thought it was a good movie, but I really wanted General Zod to win. The entire time, especially near the end of the movie, I was thinking, -blam!- Earth, I wanna see Earth remade into a badass futuristic planet.
