It's sad that the "next gen" consoles (Xbox One in this case, no news on PS4) will mainly be running at 900p for most of their games. It's 2013 and games for consoles STILL aren't be rendered in 1080p. What a disappointment.

Couldn't give a rat's ass if the visuals are 1080 or 900 or 720. If the game is fun, that's what matters to me.

Edited by JLx24: 10/15/2013 4:48:11 AMThere is no point to have 1080p unless you are very close to the screen (phone, computer monitor, etc) or if your tv is very large, so I don't see a problem with this. By reducing it to 900p they sacrifice almost no visual fidelity, but gain a lot of power to implement in other game systems. Remember, graphics don't make a game, and even though pc gamers say that they don't just care about graphics, they only make threads about graphics.

I am all for it as long as it means that most games aren't going to be 50GB like the new Killzone. I want the 500GB drive to last me at least a few years; I worked with 40GB and then a 120GB for the 360 since launch.
