This is more of a thought exercise than anything.
For those of you that do believe in luck(I don't think I do, depends on ones definition of luck) would it be possible for luck to be a quantifiable attribute that an individual or species could possess. Ala Chief from Halo or humanity from Larry Niven's "Known Space" series. And if so try to mentally derive a model as to how this (in your own mind) may be possible. Hell, even if you don't believe in luck give it a shot anyway, you may surprise yourself.
(I find that it's fun to come up with ways for highly improbable shit to work)

Luck=chance in my mind So that kinda solves that whole luck thing mathematically as percentages and fractions...
