Oculus Rift: Is it worth it to get it this Christmas, or should I wait a while?

Wait, let everything settle out. Sony is making one that could be cheaper, resulting in a cheaper and more advanced oculus. I say wait until the gaming and dev community have fully noticed its capabilities.
