For those of you who enjoy his books and games.

Yeah, I just got up and saw this. Da fuq? I guess at least there won't be any more pretending that he wrote the books that came out under his name though. (everything after Teeth of the Tiger was ghost written) Oh, and Bloomberg can shove it up their ass. The title of their article on this: "Tom Clancy, Author Who Conjured Threats to U.S., Dies at 66"
-
I think you mean Tom Clancy's Dead at 66. ...But really, this is tragic.
-
Truly a shame, a lot of the books I've been reading lately were from him, now what? No more Splinter Cell or Rainbox Six novels that will be at his caliber to say the least.
FUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
Edited by TheSpiderChief: 10/2/2013 3:51:47 PMTom Clancy was one of the best authors out there; a damn shame. He will be missed :(

FUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

Such a sad loss, he was such a good author
-
:( i saw. i hope The Division still does well.
-
He has a book coming out in December... How is that going to work out? I hope it doesn't lose quality. Anyways, this is a real bummer.
"Command Authority," his last book, is due to be published by G.P. Putnam's Sons in December, the company said. Putnam is an imprint of the Penguin Group.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/02/us/tom-clancy-obit/index.html

That sucks. I haven't read much of his books but still. Rest in peace Clancy
-
OMG seriously when did he die? His books and game spin offs were awesome.
-
Yeah that's sucks... Once I read this, I saw it on NBC Nightly News, so I had to hear/read it twice.
-
He knew too much
-
I actually feel kinda bad that everyone recognizes him for making the games.
-
I'm not trying to sound like an ass but this could be used to advertised the Division. "The creator of this game died before it could even come out, R.I.P Tom Clancy"
-
Edited by Fresh Pancake: 10/2/2013 10:18:43 PMYa, saw this a few hours ago, sad too, only a few weeks earlier I had checked to see if he was still alive. Wonder how the games are going to be without him around. Reading Shadow Watch right now.

Kind of surprising, 66 is still kind of your for kickin the bucket. Can't say much about his writing though, always found it to be pretty mediocre.
-
Oh no...truly a legend. Such a sad loss, RIP.

That's too bad, but at least he lived a good life.
