What level are you? Share stories about the best ES game.

Played and loved it. Made it a personal quest to fill up the museum of artifacts in Mournhold.
-
I clocked over 300 hours in Morrowind. Of all the ES titles, I enjoyed Morrowind's atmosphere and dialogue the most. My only complaint lies with the dice-roll battle mechanics. Battling agile enemies was a nightmare for my aptly-named 'Brutus the Orc'.
-
I got bored and decided to take some pictures of places in Vvardenfell
-
Unfortunately not. My first ES was Oblivion. I tried getting into Morrowind last year, but couldn't do it. It's too late for me now :(

best ES game? You mean Oblivion? Cause face it, Morrowind was great but Oblivion was just amazing on a godly level.
by godly, I mean 9 Divines, Daedric, Lorkhan, etc godly. Not that bs fake irl godly

yeah i said fake
I wish i did at the time. Same with oblivion. Its a shame i only got introduced to skyrim because i played the -blam!- out of that.
-
Yes but I like it I just think it isn't the best.
-
Yeah, I played the -blam!- out of Morrowind. Got to level 243 on one character. Nothing could kill me. Hell, I used a levitate spell to go as high up in the air as I could and fell down. I survived. Never got to play the DLC, though.

Edited by Ad Hoc: 10/2/2013 8:05:24 PMI just bought it for Xbox a few weeks ago, and I'm having a really tough time getting into it. I've played A LOT of Oblvion and Skyrim, and I love the lore, so I figured it'd be easy to jump into Morrowind. Nope. I guess I'll have to build a new PC and play Morroblivion, or Skywind.
Centaur Moe
Op, is that you?
-
Yes I've played it a long time ago. No longer own it though.
-
The only thing I had problems with was its combat.
-
I managed to hit the Max level once with a Breton Mage. If anyone plans on playing the game long term: you should try to resist making your class line up with the racial boosts of your character. This will allow you to reach higher levels because you are only able to level up by increasing the 10 main skills. If you start your ten main skills as low as possible you can squeeze out a few more levels.

I've got a level 34 Dunmer Mage. It's just damn addictive. lol
-
Still has the best story of all video games ever, and absolutely worth playing for the story, atmosphere, and depth... But man, that gameplay was terrible. I try playing it again every few years, but... It hurts to play it it's so bad in that way.

Edited by Obsric: 10/2/2013 6:38:22 PMGot Skyrim on PC? Wait for the Skywind mod overhaul!
-
I played on original Xbox but I couldn't get into it because of the combat..would love to see console remake with skyrim combat
-
Still trying to work the kinks out the mods I've gotten for it. Love the game but I think Morrowind came too soon :/ Skyrim took too many things out and felt too bland to be as exciting as Morrowind
-
No, but I'd like to.
-
I love the game, but the combat is just terrible.
-
I've played it and I thought it was tedious. I'm sure it's great if you like that kind of rpg though.
-
If you're more the Sinner, than the Sinned, you'll find it all in Morrowind.
-
Morrowind is amazing!
-
Love the world and magic, but the repetitive dialogue, boring quests, bad combat and lack of NPC routines (kind of takes you out the moment) means I no longer play it.
-
Wanted to but those graphics :( I don't have fun playing games like that anymore, ever since my 360 I stick to 1080p
