Mine would have to be "Carentan Counterattack" just as Easy Company is settling into Carentan after a bloody battle for it, they assume they are going on the offensive.
The Herman Goering Fallschirm Panzer division has other plans...
This probably has to be one of the greatest battles ever shot in film/cinema/Miniseries/whatever!
So what are some of your favorite scenes Flood?
-
Can I say all of them? Does that count?
-
I remember this part was the final mission in Band of Brothers: Road to Hill 40 for PS2. I think my favorite would probably have to be the assault on the artillery emplacements in the second episode. Freaking love WII Paratroopers.
-
One of the beginning scenes when the soldier was asked by his grandson if he was a hero. His reply makes me crack up every time. :'(
-
Speirs just being a general badass.

Edited by Soviet Soyuz: 9/27/2013 11:26:36 PMWhy didn't the Jadgpanther even shoot at the Shermans? That's what I don't get. I mean, their PaK 43 can easily blow up the Shermans.
-
definitely Lt. Spears running through the German forces in that town outside of Bastogne.
-
Probably when they're in the plane in the first 2 episodes. All the other scenes are fantastic but that would probably be my favorite for whatever reason lol.
-
Band of Brothers truly made me realize how effective our German brothers were even as late as 1944. Hmm... let's see. Operation: Market Garden was possibly my favorite and pretty cool and I didn't even realize until like 10 years later the Americans actually lost that battle. Bastogne was crazy but Americans were sitting ducks and just dying all the time without killing any Germans for the longest time.

-
I thought that I remember him following the blood trail and taking the flower off of the man...does that happen right after that or is that a different scene?
-
I will never forget the scene where they find the concentration camp (name escapes me right now), but my all time favorite is the assault on Brecourt Manor. Mainly due to the accuracy of the actual event and because the tactic that Winters used is still taught today at West Point.
-
That ending.... :'(
-
Lt Spears stepping up to link up the two platoons
-
CURRAHEE!
-
The sex scene in Why We Fight. Nah, lol. When Easy company takes Carentan.
-
Top of my head, the scene where Winters charges the field and fires onto the unsuspecting and the rest of Easy follow up behind him after a few seconds and just roflstomp those Krauts.
-
My mom actually knew Joe Toy.
