you have to realize the true meaning of the book has been lost to time and imperfect translations. There are words that exist in one language but not in another, so the translators had to use a similar word which might not have the same meaning. In order to properly understand the bible, you have to find one that is an exact copy of the first one written in the same language and be fluent in said language.
